The Epson SureColor S9170 roll-to-roll inkjet printer was engineered to deliver consistent high-quality output and improved productivity in small to medium-sized sign shops, print franchises, and e-commerce, print-on-demand fulfillment companies. It handles rolls of self-adhesive vinyl, banner materials, and other eco-solvent ink-compatible inkjet media up to 64 in. wide.
The SureColor S9170 uses 11 colors of Epson GS UltraChrome® GS3 solvent ink to faithfully reproduce almost any logo color a brand-marketer might need for vehicle wraps, transit advertising, outdoor signs, or durable stickers or labels.
The 11-color ink set uses Red, Orange and an all-new Green ink in conjunction with Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Cyan, Light Magenta, Light Black and an opaque White. This combination delivers an extremely wide color gamut that achieves 99.5% of the colors in PMS Formula Guide Solid Coated (2022 Edition) Full.
Industrial printers and sign shops need this wide color gamut and consistent, reliable color production because they often print branded graphics to capture attention, accurately represent products, uphold brand integrity, and convey messages effectively.
The fast-drying ink set allows same-day lamination for fast turnaround of finished graphics. The mix-and-match ink packs given print shops to use larger 1,500 ml ink packs for the colors printed most often and 800 ml ink packs for colors used less frequently.
