Meet Creators of Branded Environments and Wayfinding Signage at ISA Sign Expo

The Society for Experiential Design (SEGD) will hold two full-day educational programs concurrently with the 2025 International Sign Expo, April 23-25 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The SEGD is a community of graphic and exhibition designers, fabricators, architects, media developers, creative technologists, teachers and students who design experiences that connect people to places.

The co-located ISA and SEGD events will benefit members of both organizations. Sign, fabrication, and installation specialists can learn more about how architects and experiential designers think about wayfinding, placemaking, and branded environments. At the Sign Expo, SEGD attendees can see new materials, products, technologies, and services available for experience design.

The two SEGD educational sessions will be held on April 23 and 24.  

Wednesday, April 23
SEGD Wayfinding + Placemaking

SEGD experts will share insights about how wayfinding and placemaking do more than guide people from point A to point B. They will explain how intentional design of wayfinding enhances navigation, reinforces spatial identities, and elevates user experiences.

“Placemaking” transforms indoor and outdoor spaces in cities, campuses, and cultural institutions into experiences that foster deeper connections between people and  places. architects, designers, and fabricators that know how to shape seamless, inclusive, and engaging environments.

SEGD Branded Environments

Presenters will explore how storytelling, technology, and design trends are shaping the next generation of branded spaces. Attendees will learn how brands leverage tools such as interactive media, environmental graphics, and multi-sensory design to create lasting emotional connections and redefine audience engagement.
