At the 2025 FESPA Global Print Expo in Berlin, Agfa showed the four newest additions to their Jeti Tauro, Onset, and Ciervo families of hybrid and flatbed wide-format inkjet printers. Plus, to honor the 20th anniversary of the announcement of their first Anapuna inkjet printer, Agfa unveiled a limited-edition version of the Anapurna Ciervo. Here’s a quick rundown of the recent additions.
Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS Hybrid
The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS is Agfa’s fastest hybrid roll-to-roll/flatbed inkjet printer. With 12 rows of printheads it can output graphics at speeds of up to 13,778 sq ft/hr. Purpose-built to produce high-quality prints on rigid or flexible materials, the Tauro H3300 XUHS is engineered for round-the-clock productivity and integration with advanced automation options.

“The Jeti Tauro H3300 XUHS redefines industrial-scale hybrid printing, merging blistering speeds with offset-grade precision,” said Dieter Jancart, Segment Manager, High-End Printing, Agfa. It empowers print providers to pursue higher-margin jobs on more complex substrates.
Jancart also noted that “Its intelligent automation and ink ecosystem future-proof operations, letting businesses dominate rigid, flexible, and specialty media markets with unmatched quality and uptime.”
INKS: The new Tauro 30 inks were formulated to provide superior performance on corrugated cardboard and rigid signs. They have high-bending resistance up to180 degrees without cracking.
The printheads can be configured to carry either 4 colors (CMYK) for the fastest production speeds, or with 6 or 7 colors (CMYK and light cyan, light magenta, and light black) to produce a wider range of colors and details in photographic images. Additional printheads can apply white ink for printing on clear or colored substrates, a primer to improve adhesion on difficult substrates, and/or varnish to create prints with enhanced brilliance and impact.
AUTOMATION: The Tauro XUHS model that Agfa demonstrated at FESPA comes with the MAX Flex RTR module and MAX Bots.
The MAX Flex RTR module supports accurate registration prints on both sides of roll-to-roll media and enables seamless transitioning from rolls to boards or sheets without undocking.
MAX Bots are programmed to automatically load, unload, and stack sheets of material and rigid boards.

Onset Panthera FB 3216 Flatbed
The Onset Panthera is a fast, true flatbed printer for a mix of orders ranging from fast-turnaround point-of-sale and retail graphics as well as corrugated point-of-purchase displays and packaging.
Its heavy-duty construction ensures non-stop operation, while the advanced print carriage delivers flawless, banding-free prints. Each print is executed with smooth, fluid motion to eliminate the artifacts from bi-directional printing.
“With the Onset Panthera FB3216, we have engineered a press that combines raw power and intelligent automation with unmatched speed, versatility and precision,” said Jancart. “This unique printer delivers flawless prints across graphics and packaging while adapting seamlessly to any workflow. It is setting a new standard for flatbed printing.”
The Onset Panthera handles sheets of inkjet media ranging from 200 gsm coated paper to boards up to 46 mm (1.86 in.) thick. Board sizes can range from 63 in. wide up to 126.8 in. long.
FULL-WIDTH PRINT CARRIAGE: Like all printers in Agfa’s Onset series, the Panthera FB 3216 uses a print carriage that spans the full width of the vacuum bed that keeps the substrate in place during printing.
This configuration eliminates the ink build-up that can create visible banding on printers in which the printheads are carried back and forth (bi-directionally) above the print surface. Onset’s page-wide array of printheads moves smoothly above the print surface to delivers banding-free prints.

UV-LED INKS: Panthera differs from previous Onset models because it uses an advanced UV-LED curing systems and UV-LED inks to support rapid, high-quality printing with striking gloss levels and minimal energy usage.
For fastest production, the 12-ink-channel Onset Panthera can be operated with 3 sets of CMYK inks. It can produce graphics at more than 15,500 sq ft/hr.
A 14-channel models uses 3 sets of CMYK inks in 12 channels and 2 cartridges white ink in the other two channels.
Agfa’s Onset 560 inks are Greenguard Gold-certified for safe use in health-sensitive indoor environments. The inks produce a large color gamut with up to 30% less ink consumption than non-Agfa inks. Agfa Onset 560 inks are formulated for excellent adhesion, scratch resistance, and flexibility.
The Panthera’s LED curing system uses a staged curing approach. Two LED units placed at the front of the printbed and one curing unit at the rear help ensure that each layer of ink is fully cured. This helps ensure strong adhesion, a wider color gamut, and a high-gloss finish.
The LED curing systems uses 60% less power than the bulb-curing systems on previous Onset printers. Plus, the Onset Panthera uses up to 80% less power in standby mode, which significantly lowers operating costs and reduces the print shop’s carbon footprint.
AUTOMATION: To further enhance productivity, the Onset Panthera can be configured with different combinations of loading and unloading devices for partial or full automation of print production. Depending on the types of materials a print provider uses each day, the Panthera owner may choose to use:
A lay table and unloading robots. This combination enables a large range of flexible materials to be manually loaded. The lay table is used to manually position up to 4 sheets to be transferred to the vacuum table by the unload robot.
Two robots: One robot handles the loading of the sheets; the other robot unloads and stacks the printed sheets.
Dual-flex lay-table and two robots. This option enables sheets to be loaded onto the printer directly from the lay-table or by a robot from a single stack.
The automated options can handle materials up to 18 mm thick with a maximum weight of 10 kg.
Agfa Anapurna Ciervo
For smaller print shops that don’t have room for a 3.2-meter Agna Anapurna H3200 hybrid UV-LED inkjet printer, Agfa now offers two more compact models that can also print on a wide range of rigid and flexible materials.
Anapurna Ciervo H2050 has a maximum print width of 80 inches and can output graphics at speeds of up to 1432 sq.ft./hr.
Anapurna Ciervo H2500 has a maximum print width of 126 inches and can print at speeds of up to 2,067 sq.ft./hr.
Both new printers can output indoor and outdoor graphics and designs on a variety of uncoated rigid materials for exhibitions, stage graphics, and advertising. They can also handle rolls of graphic films, PVC and PVC-free banner materials, canvas, and coated textiles.
The continuous board-feeding capability allows efficient printing on up to four boards simultaneously.
Optional corrugated media-feed guides are available for users who want to print on corrugated cardboard for packaging or retail point-of-sale displays.

UV-LED INKS: The Ciervo H2050 and H2500 models use six colors of GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks (CMYK with light cyan and light magenta) and white ink for printing on clear materials such as backlit and window films.
The white ink can be applied as a base layer (pre-white), sandwich white (for opacity on dual-sided prints), or post white (for spot colors and special effects). Agfa’s Thin Ink Layer technology minimizes the amount of ink consumed to achieve the desired results.
ASANTI SOFTWARE: Like all of Agfa’s sign-and-display printers, the Ciervo printers can be driven with Agfa’s Asanti wide-format workflow software. Using the latest Adobe PDF Print Engine, Asanti controls the entire printing process from prepress to production and finishing. It supports automatic job layout, true-to-shape nesting to reduce media waste, and ensures that colors will be reproduced accurately and consistently.
