Roland DG Corporation, a leading global provider of digital printing solutions, has announced the North American launch of the EU2-1000MF large-format UV flatbed printer. The EU2-1000MF enables efficient, direct-to-board printing of signs, retail displays, exhibits, and decorative interior panels in high-output environments.
Built for reliable operation with consistent print quality, the Roland EU2-1000MF is suitable for both established flatbed printer users and screen printers transitioning to digital production.
Reducing Workflow Complexity
Print businesses equipped only with a wide-format roll-to-printer must use adhesive-backed materials and a multi-step print, mount, and laminate workflow to fulfill orders for graphics on rigid or thick substrates such as foamboards, coroplast, or aluminum composite panels.
Using a flatbed printer with UV-curable inks enables them to skip the mounting and laminating steps and print directly on the presentation boards, sign blanks, or decorative panels.

New High Definition Printhead
The EU2-1000MF accommodates a wide range of rigid substrates in sizes up to 48 in. x 96 in. (1,220 mm x 2,440 mm) and materials up to 3.74 in. (95 mm) thick.
The printer uses new, economical GREENGUARD Gold certified E-US UV inks in 4-color (CMYK) or 6-color (CMYKWhGl) configurations.
Built with a new high-definition printhead, the EU2-1000MF delivers approximately 1.5 times higher productivity than Roland’s previous EU-1000MF flatbed printer without sacrificing image quality. Pricing remains unchanged from Roland’s outgoing model.
