Hybrid Software to Hold Fusion Packaging Summit April 20-22 in Sarasota, Florida

Hybrid Software, a leading innovator of packaging design and visualization software, is hosting the Fusion Packaging Summit, April 20-22, 2026, at the Westin Sarasota, in Sarasota, Florida. Focused on the future of label and packaging production, the program will help packaging printers and converters, trade shops, brands, and consumer packaged goods companies. The Fusion Summit will explore trends across all package and label printing technologies—flexo, offset, gravure, digital, and hybrid.

“This year’s Fusion Packaging Summit agenda reflects the depth and diversity of the challenges facing today’s packaging professionals,” said Mike Rottenborn, CEO of Hybrid Software. “Hybrid Software and our industry partners have built a highly engaging and comprehensive program that combines real-world insights from global brands with practical, technology-driven sessions our attendees can apply in their businesses.”

The program features guest speakers from leading companies including Amazon, Diageo, and Blue Label Packaging plus industry experts from Arden Software, BOBST, Domino, Global Vision, HiFlow Solutions, HP, Koenig & Bauer, and XSYS.

The program also includes TED Talks by sponsors, insights into artificial intelligence by industry analysts, and panel discussions on topics ranging from color management to the key role of packaging trade shops and brand service companies.

Hybrid Software will also provide updates on its products and future development roadmaps.

Last summer, Hybrid Software made news when they announced that PACKZ Max software includes integrated Harlequin RIP® technology within the PACKZ PDF editor. The software eliminates the need for a separate server for flexo and offset-printing workflows and enables prepress personnel to preview the screening patterns that digital platesetters will create for flexo and offset press jobs.

Before sending a job to the platesetter, prepress personnel can evaluate screen frequency and angles directly from PACKZ Max RIP preview and any 1-bit TIFF file.

At the upcoming Fusion Packaging Summit, attendees will learn more about PACKZ 12 which is set for release in June 2026.

Powered by AI, PACKZ 12 will enable operators to further improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall productivity in label and pacakaging production. The software will enhance prepress performance with instant access to critical information, intelligent context-aware assistance, and a streamlined learning experience.
