Features

Four, user-replaceable 4.7 inch Epson PrecisionCore printheads deliver high productivity with extreme drop placement accuracy for sharp detail and bright colors.

The lower-cost high-capacity, replaceable ink pack system holds up to 20 liters of UltraChrome DS ink per color. This reduces ink costs up to 50 percent (compared to T46C dye-sub ink used in the SureColor F9470. The four colors of UltraChrome DS inks include cyan, magenta, and yellow plus a high-density black ink that produces exceptional color saturation and high contrast.

The hot-swappable ink system automatically switches from an empty ink pack to new ink pack without stopping the print job. The enables longer printer runs without user intervention.

A redesigned 9-inch touchscreen control panel lets operators see the image printing and monitor print, paper, and ink status. Users can also understand environmental conditions for optimized print performance.

An advanced auto paper tension control system and fabric head wiper system clean the media and remove dust before printing.

A compact media dryer includes a front heater that can reach temperatures up to 230 degrees Fahrenheit and an underside header that reaches temperatures of 122 degrees Fahrenheit. This helps supports full-speed performance in a space-saving design.

Epson Edge Print RIP software enables users to get the best possible quality output with Epson’s Precision Dot technology that chooses the optimum droplet sizes and screening patterns.
